Associate Pastor-Elder
The Lord saved me by his grace at the age of 10 and I was baptized on Easter Sunday of 2000. I love the local church and believe with all my heart that it is the vehicle God intends to use to build his kingdom on earth.
I was born and raised in North Carolina, attended college at Auburn University, spent one year on the mission field in Siguatepeque, Honduras, and settled in Newnan in 2014. I completed my B.S. in Building Science in 2012. This led me to Newnan to work in the field of construction project management. My wife and I began attending Four Corners Church in May of 2014. We quickly planted ourselves in the life of the church and served in various areas: children’s ministry, Gospel Community leadership, worship band, and the missions team. I was happy in my career as a construction project manager and was growing by the Lord’s grace as a faithful church member, but I felt the need to prepare myself for…something. So, in 2017, without a full or clear picture as to why, I began pursuing a Master of Divinity degree during the cracks of life and some late, late nights. Unknown to me and my wife, this would become a step in the Lord’s providential plan in which I would leave the construction field in 2019 to come on staff as an elder and associate pastor at Four Corners.
In addition to my shepherding role as an elder, my staff responsibilities center around family ministry, which includes providing direction and oversight to children and student ministries. I also assist in coordinating our monthly members meeting.
I am married to Laura, and we have four children: JR, Sarah Jane, William and Hannah. When I am not at the church, you can usually find me playing with my kids, listening to Andrew Peterson’s music, working in the yard, or making something in my woodshop.
