It is our vision and prayer that that the life-giving power of God’s Word would be the foundation for everything our children are and do, that they would be powerfully transformed into his glorious likeness, that they would strive to serve rather than be served, and that they would make God known to the world. We pursue this vision by:
- Living faithfully before our children to model for them how Christians are called to respond to God, interact with each other and the world around them, and serve rather than be served.
- Preparing our children to one day walk with God as adults. This includes getting them ready to be a part of corporate worship and living their life in gospel community on mission
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment with the highest ethical standards such that volunteers and teachers always live and serve above reproach, in order for the gospel to be communicated without distraction.
Our classes:
9:00am (before service)
- 2nd & 3rd grades
10:15 (during service)
- Infants, 1’s, 2’s, 3’s – separate classes
- Pre-K
- Kindergarten/1st grade
**Pre-K through 1st grade start in the worship service and proceed to their class when the sermon begins. This begins training children in the discipline of sitting in service and worshipping with their parents. Beginning in 2nd grade, children attend the entire worship service.
About our curriculum, Generations of Grace:
In the Generations of Grace Sunday school curriculum, children are lead through the narrative of Scripture, from Genesis through Revelation, outlining God’s redemptive plan. Each year the curriculum covers a different part of Scripture. Over the nine-year period a child spends, Generations of Grace will lead that child through God’s redemptive plan three times, each at a deeper level.
Generations of Grace curriculum is set up as a “unified curriculum” for this very reason. Every week, children in each age range learn from the same passage of Scripture in a way that is appropriate for their respective age levels. A unified curriculum enables families to discuss one passage together each week, reinforcing the lesson children have learned in Sunday School.
